History

Incorporated in December 1988, Champion Outdoor began building and operating billboards in the Tampa Bay Market. Incorporated in January of 1999, Champion Outdoor Advertising Media Services, Inc., D/B/A  Champion Media Services, ("CMS") represented Galaxy Outdoor, New York, New York; Chance Outdoor, Georgia;JLH Outdoor, Polk County, Florida; and SG Outdoor, West Coast of Florida. In November 1999, Champion was recruited by Ads In Motion, as their exclusive agent to locate, permit, and successfully install LED displays in Ft. Lauderdale.  Champion successfully obtained approval from the State of Florida, for the installation of Florida’s first LED display which was installed on a bulletin on Interstate 95 in Ft. Lauderdale. Beginning in 2014, CMS recruited independent outdoor owners to list their structures for consideration for cellular revenue, but the technology was in its infancy as well as the compensation. Currently, the technology has matured as well as the compensation."
